Dawn and twilight are my preferred times to shoot. This light is dim, even, soft and mostly without shadow, enabling slow exposures that create serene imagery. Overcast skies during the day can provide the same effect – the clouds are a natural soft-box. It’s rare that I’ll shoot long after sunrise or before sunset. The edge of light. That’s my time.

My fine art nature photography is available in unique, contemporary, frameless display options, including the stunning color and “pop” of acrylic, elegant stained and sanded bamboo panels (which are eco friendly!), sleek aluminum and dibond, economical and light gatorfoam, and gallery wrapped canvas that holds a similarity to a painting. Digital downloads are also available for purchase. Click here for additional information on these products, including product photographs.
